Welcome to Bethi B’s Coffee Shop! This is a dream come to fruition and I’m so excited! I have wanted to own my own business for quite some time. I plan to serve delicious coffee and make a difference in my community. I am a teacher by trade but left teaching in 2016 to pursue full-time crisis and disaster relief work. I had the privilege of doing that for 2 1/2 years. Then I moved to Florida at the end of 2018 to be closer to my mother. As a result of my time working with those in the midst crisis, I want to one day have a mobile coffee unit so that I can serve those directly affected by crisis and disaster.
Since I moved to Manatee County, I became aware of a significant need to help young adults aging out of the foster care system. As my business grows, I hope to use my small business to employ those young adults. I want to give them a place to learn a skill and grow in confidence while providing an income. I’m so excited to be on this journey and to see what the future holds!!
